What we provide

We provide practical, non-medical transition support. That may include planning conversations, organizing belongings, helping families compare options, coordinating vendors, preparing for move day, and supporting resettling into a new home or care setting. Our role is logistical and organizational — not clinical, legal, financial, or brokerage work.

1. Not a law firm

Senior Transition Care Group is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We do not prepare legal documents, interpret wills or trusts, advise on guardianship, power of attorney, probate, estate administration, ownership disputes, or other legal matters.

Families should consult a qualified elder law attorney or estate planning attorney for legal questions involving capacity, authority, documents, property rights, or family disputes with legal consequences.

2. Not a medical provider

We are not a medical provider, physician, nurse, therapist, care manager licensed to provide clinical care, or emergency medical service. We do not diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, manage medications, assess medical capacity, or provide hands-on medical or nursing care.

Questions about safety, diagnosis, treatment, care level, hospital discharge, dementia behavior, or whether someone can live safely at home should be directed to qualified medical professionals, care managers, or the appropriate clinical team.

3. Not a financial advisor

We do not provide financial planning, investment advice, insurance advice, Medicare plan selection, Medicaid planning strategy, or advice about paying for care. We may discuss practical budgeting considerations related to a move, but that is not financial advice.

Families should speak with qualified financial advisors, insurance professionals, benefits specialists, or other licensed professionals for financial and benefits decisions.

4. Not a tax advisor

We do not provide tax advice, tax preparation, or guidance on deductions, basis, capital gains, estate tax, gift tax, or other tax consequences related to a move, home sale, donation, or disposition of belongings.

Tax questions should be directed to a qualified CPA, enrolled agent, or tax attorney.

5. Not a real estate broker

We are not a licensed real estate broker or salesperson. We do not list property, negotiate purchase or sale contracts, provide comparative market analysis as brokerage services, or act as a buyer’s or seller’s agent in a real estate transaction.

If a family needs to sell, buy, rent, or evaluate real estate options, they should work directly with a licensed real estate professional.

6. Not an estate appraiser

We do not provide formal appraisals of antiques, jewelry, art, collectibles, furniture, real property, or other assets for legal, tax, insurance, or estate settlement purposes. Any informal observations we share about belongings are not professional appraisals.

Families needing valuation for legal, tax, insurance, or estate purposes should consult a qualified appraiser or other appropriate professional.

7. Not a licensed moving company

We are not a licensed moving company, carrier, or household goods mover. We do not physically transport household goods as a mover unless specifically stated otherwise in a separate written agreement with a properly licensed provider.

We may help families plan, organize, coordinate, and prepare for a move, and we may introduce or coordinate with independent moving vendors, but the actual moving services are performed by the vendors the family chooses.

8. No emergency services

Senior Transition Care Group does not provide emergency services. Our website, forms, AI assistant, voicemail, text messages, and email are not monitored as emergency response channels.

If there is a medical emergency, safety emergency, or immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service right away. Do not use our website or AI assistant for urgent emergency situations.

9. Families should consult qualified professionals

Senior transitions often involve important decisions about health, safety, housing, legal authority, finances, taxes, insurance, and property. Families should consult qualified professionals directly for advice in those areas.

We can help with planning, organizing, and coordination once the family understands the options and has obtained appropriate professional guidance. Final decisions belong to the senior and family.
